Getting connected

Filter examples

Bands

ACCEPT/SPOTS BAND 20M,40M

Only pass spots on 20m and 40m.

Modes

REJECT/SPOTS MODE FT8

Reject FT8 spots.

Prefixes

ACCEPT/SPOTS PREFIX G,GM,GD

Only pass matching DX callsign prefixes.

Spotters

REJECT/SPOTS SPOTTER W3LPL-*

Reject a spotter or matching spotter suffixes.

RBN only

ACCEPT/SPOTS SOURCE RBN

Only pass validated skimmer/RBN output.

Human spots only

ACCEPT/SPOTS SOURCE HUMAN

Only pass normal cluster and locally posted spots.

Persistent settings: your DX output setting, skimmer-quality display and filters are saved against your login callsign and restored when you reconnect.

RBN validation

Reverse Beacon Network observations are not simply forwarded raw. The node correlates independent skimmers before publishing a call and uses Super Check Partial and Big CTY as additional confidence signals.

Quality marks follow the familiar CT1BOH/AR-Cluster style: ? unknown, V validated, Q possible QSY and B likely busted decode. The cluster never silently changes a callsign from SCP or CTY data.
